Study: pistachios reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes

Of all the nuts , the pistachios are perhaps one of the most overlooked, however, besides being rich and nutritious have several benefits, including the prevention of certain diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disorders.http://www.addthismark.com/story.php?title=grow-taller-4-idiots
Specifically, a recent study by the Human Nutrition Unit of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) of Tarragona determined that eating pistachios lowers the risk of diabetes , as it advanced from the same unit. This work demands about two years, has already passed the first, and remains the second-with the participation of 50 volunteers with high levels of blood glucose and, therefore, with a high probability of developing diabetes in the future. Spanish researchers started with the hypothesis that the consumption of pistachio reduces glucose levels , increases insulin sensitivity and, consequently, decreases the risk of type 2 diabetes, one of the most common chronic diseases today, and throughout the Western world. https://jobsdigg.com
On this basis and knowledge that has the Human Nutrition Unit of the URV in studies linking consumption of nuts in preventing cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes, the group has initiated the study should corroborate the hypothesis to be confirmed, " that chronic consumption of pistachio reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes . " What the researchers are doing is passing each volunteer for two phases of intervention: they must first follow a Mediterranean diet are advised, then given two weeks off, before finally returning to the diet but with the addition of some 57 grams of pistachios daily, half salted and half natural. At all times, it will analyze them glucose level, insulin resistance, changes in glucose levels, genetic markers, glucose transport at the cellular level, among other relevant variables.http://gajbice.com/Health/somanabolic-muscle-maximizer-review/
This project has received funding from the American Pistachio Growers, an entity allocates part of its budget to boost search projects and has contributed 194,000 euros, plus pistachios consumed by the volunteers involved in this study. Finally, while still remaining entire second half of the study and give the final conclusions, it is believed that the nutritional properties of nuts makes them likely to have a potential regulator of glucose and insulin in general.
